Visually it came out even better than I would have expected…it has a much bigger look than the shorts. The shorts were artistically striking and beautifully framed, they were quite arty and even abstract… whereas this was quite classical, the DP Andy Parsons he did an amazing job.
We knew that we were working with somebody that was in tune and in harmony with what we were trying to create… Andy really pushed the darkness and a lot of single-source lighting. He really pushed it in how dark we could take it without it becoming ugly, so that it still has a painterly quality.
